Stir fried field beans with potato..


Ingredients:
Field beans
Potatoes

For tempering:
Oil
Mustard
Cumin
Turmeric
Garlic
Onion
Green chillies 


Method:
Prepare veggies, string the beans, split n cut the bean into 2 pieces and boil till tender and strain n keep a side. Add little turmeric n salt to boiling water and adjust seasoning while finishing. 

Chop potato in to even size and In a pan heat oil add mustard n let it crack. Add potato pieces n fry till crisp and keep a side..


Chop onion and green chillies and set a side.

Tempering:

In a frying pan heat oil add mustard, cumin as they crackle add chopped garlic, chillies and chopped onions fry till golden brown add prepared beans n stir ones all the ingredients are mixed well add fried potatoes n mix. Adjust the seasoning..

Lemon rice with bhindi fry



Ingredients:
Cooked rice 
Lemon juice
For tempering:
Vegetable Oil
Mustard seeds
Spilt black gram
Ground nuts
Chopped green chillies
Onions (optional)

Method:
Heat oil in a pan add mustard when it starts to crackle add split blackgram and fry till black gram turns golden brown add chopped chillies and onion n fry till onion turn translucent add little salt n lemon juice. 

Pour the tempering mix over cooked rice and mix well  and adjust the seasoning n sourness by adding required amount of lemon juice n salt.


Garnish with fried onions and serve hot to relish lemon rice. 


Bhindi fry:


Ingredients:
Tender ladies fingers
Garlic cloves
Chopped Chillies
Salt and red chilli powder
Oil

Method:
Heat oil in a shallow frying pan add my start n cook till they crackle. Add evenly cut ladies finger pieces. N cook till they stick to each other stirring occasionally.

As the ladies fingers cook, it will start to leave oil and get separated  from each other, sprinkle little salt in order to impart little salt into pieces.

Ones the pieces are serrated n turn cooked, when u chew it should not be gummy. At this stage spread the pieces to side n add little oil, crush garlic cloves n add to hot oil as garlic releases nice fragrance add split black gram n fry till they turn golden burn and mix the pieces n garlic. Add required amount of salt n red chilli powder.

Cooking after 2 years.. Saturday night party..

Cooking after 2 years..

This weekend is gonna be awesome..

Almost after 2 years I have cooked pilau. 
Cooking has always been very interesting thing to pass time. 
So this weekend I have cooked..

With whatever is available, quickly planed to cook paneer pilau, potato fry(home style
so i have quickly chopped onion, chillies, garlic and potato. 

So our cooking party has started.. 
My friend chetan has started to fry the onions..

Fried till the onions turned translucent and add chopped green chillies.


 Ones the chillies started to turn cocked add crushed garlic. 

Ahh.. That's mee.. Finally chetan has clicked some of my pics.. 
N added rice n the sprinkle the garam masala n close the lid and 
cook it in medium flame.


N we are waiting for the pulao to get to its final cook.. 

While the gang is waiting for the finish of pilau.

N finally.. Our meal is ready.. Here it goes..
