College Days - First time First Prize.. Awesome Experience..

With Big Red Suitcase, i started my journey to make my dreams come true.. departure from guntur station with dad and mom in prasanthi express...

with in first month of college, our event coordinator Ms. Irfana has announced abt Jornada 2002 at Jyoti Niwas College, Kormangala i was too enthusiastic to be part of the competitions.. so i gave my name for Sketching, Elocution and Clay Modeling.

The craziest stuff was.. i didnt knew wat was it all abt.. listen this.. u will burst laughing.. after dinner in college mess while going back to hostel i had picked up some clay from the near by park.. then wat... i did a model of twin towers.. as that can be a theme.. while i was fiddle with clay during evenings.. the day has come..

On the Day1 we reached JNC it was awesome... for identification we are asked to get the college logo stamped on hand.. ha ha ha.. that was funny.. my first event was abt to start then mam said i want those people who are very confident to win... hmmmm... i dropped my name from sketching..

while going back college, near garden city hospital in one of the stationary shop i asked for synthetic clay and he gave me one pack.. i went back to room and worked the clay and did some models.. and it was 10:30 Pm.. it was bed time..

woke up in the morning... got ready n rushed to college... as it was saturday have to attend assembly. along with seniors we have rushed to JNC as  i went it was the time for elocution has started.. i was called to present my elocution, how ever i walked up to podium and started my presentation confidently but with in no time i was nervous and i couldn't speak any thing i said thank u and closed my presentation.. as i came down debajyoti.gogoi  has said well done, atleast u have gone up and spoke something.. that was good motivation from my friend to go forward. we rushed to library block, venue of clay modeling.

me and Prasanth P was in team for clay modeling.. there is lot going on in my mind and the judges introduced  themselves and briefed the rules and theme for the clay modeling will be picked from lot where there name of a state has been given.. it was my turn, i picked and opened the chit and saw it was kerala.. my mind was filled with a serene scene of kerala and thank god the clay i picked was multi color it was awesome.. i jus took the chart paper on which we need to do our model and started to do it.. i asked prasanth to make some coconut trees n wat i made was backwaters where 2 boats are there with men, coconut trees, small houses a hill and a temple while we were making it at one point of time we were asked to move to a different location and while moving some of the tress fell off.. haaaaaaaaaaaa.... quickly we rearranged them.. it was really nice to see people coming and seeing what we are making and prasanth was excited n said that people are liking our model but some how i was like nervous and told him let us complete.. and we completed and the judges came to judge and every one was looking at our model... n some one the team came n said u guys did good job.. n then i was like.. but wat is the result..

i couldn't stop asking the judges and i asked.. excuse me sir, may i know who are the winners... n he smiled n said u guys won with 1st place.. wow.. that was amazing and shocking it was my first time winning a prize in something where there was abt 10 teams..

Prasanth went and informed the rest of team... that was grt... then our team was abt to perform group dance so we rushed there...

in first year i was also part of carving workshop followed by salad bar event...
